Johnstown Crack Dealer Sentenced to Six Years in Federal Prison

United States Attorney Mary Beth Buchanan announced today, October 22, 2009, that Diontai L. Moore, a resident of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, was sentenced in federal court in Johnstown to 72 months in prison and three years supervised release on his conviction of violating federal narcotics laws.

United States District Judge Kim R. Gibson imposed the sentence on Moore, age 25.

According to information presented to the court by Assistant United States Attorney Stephanie L. Haines, on  January 29, 2007, Moore distributed less than 5 grams of cocaine base, commonly known as "crack."

Ms. Buchanan commended the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Laurel Highlands Resident Agency, and the Cambria County Drug Task Force for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Moore.
