Two Plead Guilty to Federal Drug Charges

HUNTINGTON, WV—Jammie L. Davis, 37, of Detroit, Michigan, pled guilty before United States District Judge Robert C. Chambers to conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute heroin in Huntington, WV. Davis, who is scheduled to be sentenced on November 20, 2009, faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine. The Drug Enforcement Administration and the Huntington Police Department conducted the investigation. AUSA Lisa G. Johnston is handling the prosecution.

Aaron Ferguson, 22, of Huntington, West Virginia, pled guilty before United States District Judge Robert C. Chambers to distributing crack cocaine. On April 9, 2008, Ferguson sold a quantity of crack cocaine to a confidential informant on the CVS parking lot located on 20th Street in Huntington. When he is sentenced on November 20, 2009, Ferguson faces up to 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $1 million. The Huntington Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, Huntington Police Department, West Virginia State Police, FBI and DEA conducted the investigation. AUSA Lisa G.
