Two Huntington Residents Plead Guilty to Federal Drug Charges
HUNTINGTON, WV—Lowantha Calloway, 46, of Huntington, WV, pled guilty before United States District Judge Robert Chambers to knowingly possessing with intent to distribute seven individually wrapped packages of crack at an apartment located at 1128 9th Avenue, Huntington on November 4, 2008. Calloway, who is scheduled to be sentenced on September 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m., faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine. The FBI, the Huntington Drug & Violent Crimes Task Force and the Huntington Police Department conducted the investigation. AUSA Lisa G. Johnston is handling the prosecution.
Keith Lamont Flowers, Jr., 31, of Huntington, WV, pled guilty before United States District Judge Robert Chambers to distributing a quantity of crack to a confidential informant on January 8, 2009, at 17th Street and 11th Avenue in Huntington. Flowers, who is scheduled to be sentenced on September 28, 2009, at 2:30 p.m., faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine. The FBI, the Huntington Drug & Violent Crimes Task Force, the Huntington Police Department and the West Virginia State Police conducted the investigation. AUSA Lisa G. Johnston is handling the prosecution.
