United States Attorney Mary Beth Buchanan announced today, May 6, 2008, that Jennia Gwedolyn Morrow, a resident of Conneautville, Pennsylvania and Henry Jones, a resident of Springboro, Pennsylvania, have each been sentenced in federal court in Erie to sixty‑three months in jail on their convictions of violating federal drug laws. Senior United States District Judge Maurice B. Cohill, Jr. imposed the sentences on Morrow, age 27, and Jones, age 52. According to information presented to the court by Assistant United States Attorney Marshall J. Piccinini, the evidence presented at trial established that between February 28, 2006 and March 1, 2006, the defendants conspired to distribute and distributed approximately one ounce of crack cocaine in the vicinity of 124 Beaver Street and 111 South Main Street in Springboro, Pennsylvania. The testimony at trial showed that Jennia Gwedolyn Morrow coordinated the purchase of crack cocaine from her supplier brother Jerome Neal Morrow. The evidence also established that Jerome Morrow then had his sister and his co-defendant Henry Jones actually distribute the crack cocaine. Ms. Buchanan commended the EAGLE task force, which is comprised of members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Pennsylvania State Police, the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office and the Erie Police Department for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Morrow and Jones.
