CLAIRTON COCAINE DEALER SENTENCED TO 20 YEARS IN PRISON |
United States Attorney Mary Beth Buchanan announced today, February 8, 2008, that Keith Meade, a resident of Clairton, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced in federal court in Pittsburgh to 240 months (20 years) imprisonment, to be followed by 10 years of supervised release, on his conviction of violating the federal drug laws.
United States District Judge David S. Cercone imposed the sentence on Meade, age 37.
According to information presented to the court by Assistant United States Attorney Charles A. Eberle, from in or around 2004 until on or about March 30, 2006, in the Western District of Pennsylvania and elsewhere, Meade and others conspired to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine.
Ms. Buchanan commended the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Meade.
