VERONA MAN SENTENCED TO THREE YEARS IN PRISON FOR POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

United States Attorney Mary Beth Buchanan announced today, May 13, 2008, that Dennis Suprak, a resident of Verona, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced in federal court in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to three years imprisonment, to be followed by five years of supervised release, on his conviction of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Senior United States District Judge Maurice B. Cohill imposed the sentence on Suprak, age 52.

According to information presented to the court by Assistant United States Attorney Kay B. Lee, on or about October 17, 2006, Suprak possessed child pornography.

Ms. Buchanan commended the Federal Bureau of Investigation for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Suprak.
